What this policy covers

This explains what Building Chloe Company ("Building Chloe", "we") collects through buildingchloe.com, why, and what happens to it. Written plainly, because it should be readable.

This site collects no personal data about you

There is no form anywhere on this site — not one. No database, no accounts, no cookies.

We do keep anonymous visit statistics (the next section spells out exactly what), but there is nothing in them that identifies you.

What we record, and what we don't

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous statistics: which pages get opened, which site people arrived from (Google, Instagram, WhatsApp, or typing the address), what device, which country.

We also record one action: whether someone clicked a WhatsApp or Email button, and which page they clicked it from. That records "someone clicked", not "who clicked".

No cookies, no browser storage, no cross-site tracking, no profiles. If the same person visits today and again tomorrow, we cannot tell it is the same person.

The script is served from buildingchloe.com itself, not an external third party. The data is processed by our host, Vercel.

How the Building Blueprint works

Every question runs in your own browser, and the result is generated there. Nothing leaves your device during that, and we cannot see it.

We only see your answers if you press send and share the result with us over WhatsApp — the same as typing a message to us by hand.

Close the page and what you entered is gone. We keep no copy.

When you contact us

If you reach us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you put in that conversation: name, business, contact details, and what you tell us about your situation.

Choosing to send that message is how you consent to us using it to reply and to follow up on the project.

We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

The site stores nothing, so this only concerns messages you send us.

We keep enquiry records for as long as is reasonably needed to follow up and to maintain business records. You can ask us to delete or anonymise them at any time (see "Your rights").

There is no automatic deletion at present. If that matters to you, tell us and we will handle it by hand.

Cookies

This site uses no cookies — not "no advertising cookies", none at all, and no browser storage either.

The analytics described above are cookieless. That is why you will never see a cookie consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties: only two

One, fonts come from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading them means Google receives your IP and browser details — true of every site that uses Google Fonts.

Two, tapping a WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp. From that moment WhatsApp's own privacy policy (Meta) applies.

Beyond those, there are no third-party scripts, no advertising pixels, no social tracking code.

Hosting, and whether data leaves Malaysia

It does, and that is worth stating. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers and CDN nodes are spread worldwide — you are most likely served from Singapore. Fonts come from Google's servers.

The anonymous visit statistics above are also processed by Vercel and stored on servers outside Malaysia.

Both involve only technical access records (IP, time, page requested), used for operations and abuse prevention. They contain no name or contact details, because the site has nowhere for you to enter them.

What you send us over WhatsApp or email sits with Meta and Microsoft respectively, under their own policies.

If there is ever a breach

Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act, as amended in 2024, requires notifying the regulator when a data breach occurs, and notifying affected people when it is serious.

If a breach involves your data, we will report it as required and contact you directly: what happened, what data was affected, and what we did about it.

Since the site itself stores nothing, this risk sits mainly with our email and WhatsApp accounts.

Minors

This site is aimed at business owners, not at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy. Email buildingchloe@hotmail.com — we reply directly and confirm identity before acting.

Because the site stores nothing, what we hold is usually just the conversation you sent us.

Malaysian data protection law

This policy is written with reference to the principles of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and its 2024 amendments.

We have not had a formal legal compliance review. Treat this as an honest description of what we actually do, not a certified compliance statement. For formal reliance, take legal advice first.

Policy updates

If this policy changes materially, we update the date at the top of the page.
